The Master Policy has been approved for use by state insurance regulators and by the GSEs and conforms to the GSEs’ 2018 mortgage insurer master policy requirements. The Master Policy became effective on March 1, 2020. All insured Loans with application dates on that date or later are covered under the Master Policy.

Master Policy Documents

Master Policy - The Master Policy governs the terms of coverage for all Loans with MI Application dates on or after March 1, 2020. Our old master policy will continue to govern the terms of coverage on all Loans with MI Application dates prior to March 1, 2020.
Delegated Endorsement - For delegated customers, this endorsement sets the terms of our Delegated Underwriting Program.
Independent Validation Endorsement – 36-month Rescission Relief is provided automatically under our new Master Policy. For lenders who want early Rescission Relief, we offer our Independent Validation program. The Independent Validation Program Manual explains some of the terms and conditions included in the Independent Validation Endorsement. Customers must specifically request the Independent Validation Endorsement be added to their Master Policy in order to participate in the program.

Until further notice, which shall be reasonably supplied, submission of the Servicing Report defined in the Master Policy under Section 5.4 is voluntary.
If a servicer wishes to voluntarily submit the Servicing Report, Arch MI will accept either the comprehensive or minimum version of the MILAR template – or any other subset of MILAR the servicer chooses to report.
Our Streamlined Claims Process
In our Master Policy, we provide certainty with respect to Claims documentation. Arch MI's Master Policy requires that the Delinquency and Claims Reference Manual ("DCRM") published on our website identify all the documents that may be required to be submitted with Claims. For most claims, this means that you will only be required to submit the following six documents with your claim: attorney chronology, collection notes, servicing notes, loss mitigation notes, current broker's price opinion (BPO), and Loan payment history. You will only be required to submit additional documents if they are needed to process your Claim. The Claims documentation section of the DCRM can be found on pages 14-15 of the DCRM link below.
